About this route
Miami Airport to Orlando Private Transfers for Families and Older Adults
Traveling with children or older family members is simpler when the journey stays together. After your MIA pickup, settle into one private vehicle for the ride to your Orlando hotel or vacation rental. There are no vehicle changes or shared passenger pickups along the way, and your luggage stays with your group until you arrive.
Tell us about child seats, strollers, folding wheelchairs and any boarding needs before booking. We can review the vehicle and luggage space with you so the arrangements suit your family. Send the complete hotel or vacation-rental address, and request any planned stops in advance so their timing and cost can be confirmed.
Long-distance details to settle before travel
- Allow for a multi-hour drive. Travel time varies with traffic, weather, road work, and the precise destination.
- Share your flight number, full destination, children’s ages and any mobility or luggage requirements before confirmation.
- Orlando to MIA is available as a separate one-way reservation. A round trip therefore requires two reservations, one for each direction.

Miami Airport to Orlando SUVs and Vans for Every Generation
Choose an SUV XL for up to 5 passengers, a van for up to 9, or a larger van for up to 14. Count every child and infant, and list your checked bags, carry-ons and strollers. A suitable vehicle gives your family space for both passengers and the luggage needed for a longer stay.
Request child seats when booking and provide each child’s age. The first seat is complimentary, subject to availability; each additional seat is $20. If someone travels with a folding wheelchair or needs help with boarding arrangements, contact us before reserving so we can confirm whether the vehicle meets those needs.
Flight Monitoring and Coordinated Pickup at Miami Airport
We monitor your MIA flight and coordinate pickup around its actual arrival. Once everyone has collected their bags, contact your driver for the correct level, door and lane for your assigned SUV or van. You can focus on your family while the driver handles the road journey to Orlando.
Airport pickups include 2 hours of courtesy waiting for international flights or 1 hour for domestic flights, counted from actual landing unless a specific pickup time was agreed. Stay in touch if airport procedures take longer. This is a multi-hour road trip; discuss any planned stops before booking, as additional stops and waiting may carry extra charges.
Miami Airport to Disney, Universal and Orlando Hotels
The greater Orlando service area includes Orlando, Lake Buena Vista, Disney, Universal, Kissimmee and Celebration. Enter the complete hotel, resort or vacation-rental address so your driver knows the final destination. Your private vehicle takes the booked group from MIA directly to that address.
For family travel, include all children and infants in the passenger count and request the appropriate child seats before departure. List every suitcase, carry-on and stroller so the selected SUV or van can carry the full group comfortably. Admission tickets, sightseeing and unplanned extra stops are separate from the transfer.
Orlando to Miami Airport Private Transfers
Book the return to MIA as a separate one-way service. Provide the property address, airline, flight departure time and preferred pickup time. This is a multi-hour drive, so plan a generous margin for road conditions, airport check-in and security rather than scheduling a tight connection.
If you need an extra pickup, a planned stop or more than 14 seats, contact an agent before booking. Online prices show applicable extras and the 4% card processing fee before you pay, so you can review the full amount for your itinerary.

Pickup at Miami International Airport
13. Where will the driver pick me up at MIA?
You may exit through any door. Once you have your luggage and are ready for pickup, tell your driver the door number and we will pick you up there.
Your assigned driver will message you the day before your arrival with more specific instructions.
14. When will my driver contact me?
Your assigned driver will message you the day before your arrival with pickup instructions. On the day of service, keep the phone number provided in your reservation available so you can coordinate the meeting.

Yes. Tell your driver when you have all your luggage and are ready to leave. Provide your door number and follow the instructions the driver has sent you.
16. What should I do if I have no connection or cannot find my driver's message?
You can ask someone to let you make a telephone call or contact us on your behalf. Provide the name on the reservation and your location, including the door number, so we can coordinate your pickup.
17. Does the standard service include someone waiting inside with a name sign?
No. Standard pickup is coordinated directly with your driver outside the terminal.
You do not need to purchase Meet & Greet: our system allows you to exit through a door and coordinate pickup there, avoiding the walk to a parked vehicle and the cost of this additional service.
18. Can I book Meet & Greet? How much does it cost?
Yes. You can request a greeting inside the terminal with a sign displaying your name. This service must be arranged in advance and costs an additional $80.
Flights and waiting time
19. Do you monitor my flight?
Yes. We monitor all flights associated with MIA pickup reservations to organize the service around your actual arrival.
20. What happens if my flight arrives early or is delayed?
We adjust pickup according to the flight's arrival. If you have arranged a specific pickup time, that will be the scheduled time for your service.
21. What happens if the airline cancels my flight?
We reschedule your transfer at no additional cost, subject to availability. Let us know about the cancellation and provide your new flight details as soon as possible.
22. What happens if I miss my flight or do not board for personal reasons?
If the flight operates normally but you miss it, do not board or do not arrive for personal reasons, the reservation is considered a no-show, with no refund or free rescheduling.
Free rescheduling following a flight cancellation applies when the issue is with the flight, not when the passenger fails to board for personal reasons.
23. How much waiting time is included?
We include 2 hours of complimentary waiting time for international flights and 1 hour for domestic flights, counted from the actual landing time.
If you arrange a specific pickup time in advance, your complimentary waiting time starts at that time.
24. Can I request a pickup time later than my flight's arrival?
Yes. You can arrange a specific pickup time if you would like more time before leaving. The complimentary waiting allowance for your flight will start at the agreed time.
If you finish the arrival procedures earlier, you will need to wait until the time you requested.
25. What should I do if immigration or baggage delivery takes longer than expected?
Stay in touch with your assigned driver and let them know about the delay. The included waiting allowance is 2 hours for international flights and 1 hour for domestic flights.
For nighttime arrivals, we suggest considering a specific pickup time, as arrival procedures can take more than two hours. If your pickup falls within nighttime hours, the applicable surcharge applies.
26. What happens when the complimentary waiting time runs out?
Additional waiting time has a cost and must be coordinated with the driver, subject to vehicle availability. For SUV XL, Van 9 and Van 14, each started 30-minute block costs $50, $60 and $70 respectively. Up to 3 additional hours may be arranged, subject to availability; charges are paid when boarding.
For buses, additional waiting time is quoted according to the service.
27. What happens if I do not stay in contact with the driver?
Communication is necessary to coordinate pickup and report any delay. If we cannot reach you and you do not appear within the agreed waiting period, we may declare the reservation a no-show, with no refund.
Transfers from your hotel or residence to MIA
28. What pickup time do you recommend for a transfer to the airport?
Choose a pickup time that allows for the full drive from your exact address, a traffic buffer and the airport arrival time recommended by your airline. Long-distance pickups from Naples, Orlando, Key West or other cities require substantially more travel time than a local Miami transfer.
You may need more time depending on your starting address, traffic and weather. The passenger chooses the pickup time and should also consider the airline's guidance.
29. Who decides the pickup time for a transfer to MIA?
You choose your pickup time. We can offer guidance, but traffic, weather and other unexpected circumstances can affect the journey.
Golden Ride Miami is not responsible for missed flights resulting from the passenger's chosen pickup time, traffic delays, weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control.
30. How long will the driver wait at my hotel or residence?
The service includes 15 minutes of complimentary waiting time from the agreed pickup time. We recommend being ready with all your luggage so you can leave for the airport on time.
Luggage, children and transportation needs
31. How much luggage can I bring?
Each passenger may bring one checked bag weighing up to 23 kg, one carry-on suitcase and one backpack. Tell us your luggage count when booking so we can assign the appropriate vehicle.
32. What happens if I bring additional luggage?
Additional luggage is subject to available space and must be declared before the service.
If your luggage exceeds the vehicle's capacity, you will need to book a larger vehicle or transport the excess in another vehicle, such as a taxi, at your own expense. We cannot transport luggage that exceeds the available capacity.
33. Do babies and children count toward the vehicle's passenger capacity?
Yes. Include all passengers, including babies and children, when stating your group size.
34. Can I request a child seat?
Yes. Request it when booking and provide the child's age so we can arrange it. The first seat is complimentary, subject to availability. Each additional seat costs $20.
35. Can I bring a stroller or a folding wheelchair?
Yes. Tell us when booking that you will bring a stroller or folding wheelchair so we can account for the space required alongside the rest of your luggage.
36. Can I travel with a pet?
Yes. You must tell us when booking. Your pet must travel in a carrier or with an appropriate restraint system.
Stops, surcharges and service conditions
37. Can I add a stop or drop passengers off at different addresses?
Yes, with advance coordination. A stop at another location or a drop-off at an additional address is charged as an additional transfer. Waiting beyond the included 15 minutes at that stop costs extra.
Provide all stops and addresses when booking so we can organize the route and confirm the cost.
38. Is there a surcharge for nighttime pickups?
Yes. Pickups between 9:00 p.m. and 6:59 a.m., Miami time, carry a $30 surcharge for SUV XL vehicles and vans.
For buses, the nighttime surcharge is 10% of the service price.
39. Is eating or drinking allowed inside the vehicle?
Food and drinks are not permitted during regular transfers to or from MIA.
